Summary

Deck Publisher converts a PPTX file to a cinema web deck. You drop a file, check the fonts, convert, preview, and optionally publish the deck to Cloudflare R2.

The conversion pipeline uses LibreOffice, pdftoppm, ffmpeg, and img2webp. LibreOffice does not load fonts from a PPTX file unless the file embeds the fonts. If the deck needs Microsoft YaHei, PingFang SC, or a brand typeface, you must supply those font files. The app does not replace YaHei or PingFang with Noto. Substituting fonts would change how the deck looks.

The project has four parts:

• Engine — reads the PPTX and prepares images, GIF, video, and fonts.
• Viewer — the React template for the web deck.
• CLI — doctor, inspect, convert, and publish.
• Web UI — the page that you use in the browser.
