Development
How to develop Scattr
Clone superbonfire-lab/scattr.
The stack is React 19, Vite 8, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, three.js with React Three Fiber, and Zustand.
Start locally
- Run
npm install. - Run
npm run dev. - Open
http://localhost:5173.
Run npm test for the tests. Run npm run build to check types and build.
Read first
LED-Map-Studio-PRD-v0.9.md— the product spec. Older PRD files are out of date.STATUS.md— the current state and the next steps.CHANGELOG.md— newest first. The app shows it under Help → Changelog.src/engine/sources/ADDING_A_LAYER.md— how to add a new generator.
Versions
The version is a.b.c. a stays 0 until a public 1.0. b is a large feature wave. c is a small feature or a fix.
Current deployment
The app is deployed to https://scattr.superbonfire.tech through Coolify on our Tencent Cloud VPS. Coolify serves dist/. Cloudflare proxies the domain.
Purge the Cloudflare cache
After each Coolify deploy, purge the Cloudflare cache for scattr.superbonfire.tech. Vite renames the JS files on each build. An old cached index.html points to files that no longer exist, and the app does not load.
